つちくれの祠

STATEMENT

2011年2月5日〜4月3日
第14回岡本太郎現代芸術賞展 岡本太郎賞受賞
「つちくれの祠」
川崎市岡本太郎美術館

土や藁、木、竹など日本の土俗的な材料を用いた壮大なインスタレーション。
8人のメンバーがお供え物として祠に奉られ、踊り、原始の祭りが行われる。

たゆたう怒りが世界を浸食する。
土と藁に覆われたやぐらがお尻のつちくれを囲う。祠の「穴」をくぐると、やぐらの上から
「打つ人」の音に「隕石」が共鳴する。祠を守る「狗」と「兎」が、走り、飛び跳ねる。
お尻のつちくれには、お供え物に扮した「茄子」、「鶏」、そして「生け贄美女」が捧げられる。
大地の怒りを沈めるために、オル太はお供え物や祠を守る万物に扮して秘かに踊り始める。

供物:兎、狗、鶏、茄子、隕石、穴、打つ人、生け贄美女

“Soil Shrine”
TARO OKAMOTO MUSEUM of ART, Kanagawa

Soil Shrine is the magnificence installation using primitive materials such as soil, straws, woods, and bamboos. Eight members have been offered to the deities as sacrifices at the shrine. As they start dancing for the dedication, the festival has started.

Oblations: Rabbit, Dog, Rooster, Eggplant, Meteorite, Hole, Hitter, Beautiful sacrifice.
