80年代生まれの8人からなる表現集団。全員、多摩美術大学美術学部絵画学科油画専攻出身。祭り、相撲、田んぼ、幼少期に触れた田舎から、ファミコン、漫画、J-POPまで、日本で接することが出来る文化や、風土に染み付いた感性と記憶よりインスピレーションを得て作品を制作する。絵画、彫刻、映像、音楽など多数のメディアをパワフルに組み込み、多角的なアプローチによる集団的表現を展開。巨大インスタレーション、社会との接続を試みるプロジェクトで、古来より人々が行ってきた創造活動の根源的な力を現代へ蘇らせる。誰も知らないアートの可能性があなたのジャパニーズDNAを刺激する。

OLTA is a group made up of 8 artists born in the 80's.
Festivals, sumo, rice field, touched as a child from the country, Famicom, manga, J-POP until we can adopt the Japanese culture and to create works inspired from memories ingrained in culture and sensibility.
Our media is painting, sculpture, video, music and many powerful built in, expand multi-faceted approach to collective representation.
The big installation, the project tries to connect with society and to revive the fundamental forces of contemporary creative work people have done since ancient times.
On the concept of "possibilies of art that no one knows" stimulate your Japanese-DNA.
